Itinerary Details
Arrival & Transfer to Darjeeling
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station. Our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to Darjeeling (approx 3 hours). Check-in to your hotel. Evening free to stroll around the vibrant Chowrasta Mall Road. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Tiger Hill Sunrise & Local Sightseeing
Early morning (4:00 AM) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Post breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden, and Japanese Temple. Overnight stay.
Mirik Lake Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Mirik Lake. Enjoy the scenic drive through lush pine forests and endless tea gardens. At Mirik, enjoy boating in the lake or horseback riding along the banks. En route, stop at the Nepal Border (Pashupati Market) for some light shopping. Return to Darjeeling for overnight stay.
Leisure Day / Toy Train Ride
Today is a leisure day for you to relax. You can pre-book the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train) Joy Ride from Darjeeling to Ghoom and back. Spend the rest of the day exploring local cafes like Glenary's or shopping for Darjeeling tea and souvenirs. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. The majestic mountains wave you goodbye as you head back home with beautiful memories of your VistaTrek holiday.
